Paws to reflect

WAGGYtude is my way of remembering our Abby. She wagged her tail right up to the time that the Vet helped cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. For me, WAGGYtude is an attitude of Joyful Friendliness, with no grudges, no vindictiveness. My goal is to have WAGGYtude every day. For me, WAGGYtude is a Celebration of Life.  What does it mean to you? “Money may buy you a fine dog, but only love can make it wag its tail”. ~Kinky Friedman

The Birth of a Blog

I was racking my brain to come up with a title for my new blog, and then – there it was – crystal clear! The one fond, wonderful, smile-inducing, tear-producing image that I carry with me of our Abby is….her Waggy Tail. And that sums up everything I want to accomplish here. That indomitable spirit; that pure devotion; that unconditional love; that willingness to be with us, by our side, no matter what; that infinite spirit that drives a dog to sleep on his master’s grave every night for 14 years, or to make it back home in two terrible weeks with two broken front legs after being caught up in a tornado – That’s what I call WAGGYTUDE!
